My driver side window won’t roll up or down. I’ve taken apart the door and the motor works but the mount …

the window mount doesn’t move up or down. It occassionally tries to go down but just goes maybe one inch and gets stuck. I’ve lubricated all parts-nothing happens. Ive removed the window and i hear the motor going fine yet it won’t move the mount up or down. Could it be I need a new window regulator-not motor. All of the other windows work fine. Does anybody know about this stuff?

If the motor is working you need a new regulator, you will have to remove the whole assembly as the motor is riveted to the regulator.
