How can i tell if someone is recording my web cam? Can i be recorded when i chat with cam open?
I chat to someone in egypt, and i have heard that they record women over there on cam. Can this be done? How can i tell if my web cam is being recorded?
Webcam sessions can be recorded easily by the people you are chatting with. This is an example of the software used to do it:

It is also possible for someone else on the internet to intercept the video stream & record it, however, that would require them to have sent you a trojan virus first. The trojan would hijack the video stream & forward it to a third party without your knowledge.
You can easily protect yourself from that with a good internet security suite, & a routine full scan of your PC for any malware or security risks.
