Weather Binoculars
UK Astronomy viewing updates via email?
I would like to do some astronomy viewing. I have some nice binoculars and a couple of good books to get started but I live in the north of the UK where we don’t get a lot of good weather for star gazing! Does anyone know of a site or email news letter that emails you when conditions are good or also with updates on what to look out for at various times?

Two things, there’s weather forecast and there’s Weekend Skywatcher’s Guide to the universe. Well for the weather, it’s pretty much local so you better check the news for it. You might also want to join a local astronomical club. They will keep you posted on teh weather more than you would want to. As for the stargazing, subscribe to Universe Today here:
