Can i remove the tripod head from Velbon Sherpa 250R?
if yes how?
According to the review at this site the head can be removed so it can fit on aircraft as carry on luggage so that would indicate that it is removable and replaceable. See paragraphs 7 & 8.

In my experience Velbon has generally given better value for the cost than many of its competitors.
