6601TM is the model I was looking at.
Can you give me some feedback on the specs of this tri-monopod? It looks sturdy to me (holds upto 4lb) and i think its lightweight (3lb). Has more features ..bcoz I can use it at both tri-mono. Does it lack any feature? I like it because it falls in my budget of $30 or +-$5.
Will it hold my set steady? Will it be light enough to carry on hikes? Give me some feedback please. Thank you.

I am not sure how 3-way pan/tilt works …but will I be able to move my cam vertically to take portraits on the tripod?
Three way usually includes pan, tilt and 90 degree rotational feature, so it will let you shoot vertically as well as horizontally.
Only you will know if it is light enough for you to carry it on your hikes.
With VR, you will find that even if a tripod is not really sturdy, the VR will more than make up for it. The 18-200 mm VR is great lens, so my feeling is your choice of this tripod may be just fine.
For $30, it looks like a good deal. Most tripods cost much more than that (mine was $300 and I had to buy a head as well), but again only you will know for sure after a while.
