How can I take noise free shots in a club with my SLR?
I have a nikon D60. I want to start taking more pictures in clubs and at night. Every time I attempt to do this I get a lot of noise in my shots. I do have a tripod, but in a club I need to take fast shots to stop the motion. That gives me a huge problem in the low light situation. I have only been in to photography for a few mouths.
You are in a situation where there is little work around. If you exceed the limitations of the equipment – or rather you are expecting more from the equipment than what the equipment can provide, then there is not too much you can do.
Having said that, do a quick search for a program called noise ninja. You can try it for free but it is a program to reduce the noise in an image. Many pros rely on this program as well as just another tool in the bag. Not all of us can afford or want to spend the kind of money required for a camera that can do what you really want. Now if you have $2700.00 to go spend on a body, well there are some better cameras out there that can get you what you want. LOL.
