How do i connect my camera to my tripod?
My camera has the screw hole, but both of my tripods have plates on, and no screw? do i need to buy a plate with a screw on to put onto the other plate? if so what would it be called?

I call it a ‘Camera Shoe’, it has one spring loaded pin that fits in
the alignment hole in the camera alongside the female thread
and also a finger tightened screw.
First connected to the camera, then partially seated into the tripod seat
an arm swings away, the shoe drops & fits into place &
the arm swings back into place holding the camera shoe snugly
in place.
Google your camera and look for accessories, mine came with the tripod.
