Has anyone used Permatex The Right Stuff on a transmission pan?
Has anyone ever used Permatex The Right Stuff on a transmission pan (in place of the gasket). If so, how did you do it and what luck did you have??
you only use the permetex on 1 side of the gasket to hold it in place on the pan so all the holes line up and the gasket doesn’t slip around when you put it up to the engine and get all your bolts started, you have to use a gasket on the oil pan, you can’t do the job without one.
