What is the value of a Meyer & Wenthe(Chicago company) ashtray?
This is an ashtray created by Meyer & Wenthe, a tool & die manufacturer in Chicago in the 1940′s. Looks like copper. Has engraved on the ashtray, The Aluminum Pocket Seal (Picture of seal) & engraved below it Meyer & Wenthe Manufacturers Chicago). It is in the original box which says complimnets of Meyer & Wenthe, Chicago.
i live in the suburbs of chicago and have never heard of meyer and wenthe. probably not worth much. check on ebay to see if others are selling anything like it. that may give you an idea.
