Then, you should squeeze the stripper handles like the pliers. You need to pull away the jacket from fiber optic cable.
The second thing that you have to do is to open the back chamber of the epoxy glue gun that you can do by twisting off the back cap. After that, you need to insert the epoxy glue tube into the chamber and then squeeze lightly. In this step, you will only need a few ounces of the glue for the task. Then, you have to screw the cap back on the epoxy glue gun chamber.
The third thing is to inject the epoxy glue into the socket of fiber optic connectors. Each connector has two sockets on each side of it to form the connection. Furthermore, you need to insert the glue gun into the connector socket. In order to insert the glue, you need to press and hold the trigger. The glue spot should not be larger than an eye pupil.
The fourth thing is to insert one fiber optic end into the sockets of the connector. You should hold the cable in the socket and then count to 10. Then, you have to let go of the fiber optic cable and connector. Make sure that the cable stays in position once you let go of it.
Lastly, you need to place the new connection of fiber optic into an epoxy curing oven. You should turn the oven on and turn the timer knob to six minutes. In this step, you have to insert the fiber optic connectors that attached to the cable into one of the curing oven slots. After that, press the start button on the oven and pull out the connector from the oven slot. For testing the stability of the connection, you should wiggle the connector end. If you find that it seems fragile, you can reinsert the connector into the oven and then cook it for a few more minutes.
