What is a neck pouch and how it works:
The neck pouch is a great accessory for you to carry along with you when traveling to foreign countries. This is because you can place all your important papers and money in the neck pouch instead of your purse, which proves to be an easy mark for thieves.
What to look for while buying a neck pouch:
As the name implies, the neck pouch comes with a sling, so that you can wear the pouch over your shoulder or round your neck or waist. There are neck pouches available from many companies where they usually come with dual pocket organizers. However it is up to you to decide on the best neck pouch for yourself depending on the rate, size and features of the neck pouch.
However it is better to choose a strong and durable neck pouch, that preferably has a strong rear neck strap that is both adjustable and slash proof. This means the rear strap has to have a flexible and high tensile stainless steel wire that is embedded in rip stop, soft and cloth strap to make it comfortable around your neck.
Choose a neck pouch that is designed to be worn under your clothing, for added protection. It is better if there is a moisture proof liner that keeps the contents of the pouch clean and dry on wet and hot days. Though most neck pouches have only one pocket in them, some of them have pockets that provide for better organization of your stuff.
What to avoid in neck pouches:
So when you choose your neck pouch, choose according to the features, durability and the material of the neck pouch. Don’t choose one because of its color or design as it is no point in storing your important papers in a neck pouch that is not waterproof or strong.
