How does one become a member of a hunting team for real tree or mossy oak or something similar?

My husband is bugging me to crazy. He watches outdoors channel whenever he is actually indoors and goes on about how in the world would he see about getting in with one of the teams, he does anything hunting, and I tried the real tree and mossy oak sites just to glance. I don’t know which he prefers actually, those are just a couple I know of.

Well, one of the best ways is to kill a record book animal, complete some slams(all deer species with a bow, all turkey species with a muzzleloader, record bears with a pocketknife, etc.), and tape the hunts. Hell, tape skunk hunts. You’ll learn how to talk to the camera, get the shot, etc.. In a lot of cases, where there are two hunters on one of those shows, the guys that doesn’t have the shot, has the camera. Then they switch.

Once he’s completed some slams, and learned how to talk to the camera, describe what’s going on, mention sponsors, caliber, load, conditions, etc., have him send the tapes to realtree outdoors. Also, go to one of the live events they host, and start chatting up the producers of the show, when they have some downtime.

And don’t mention what a fay dumbass Babe Winkleman is. I’d like to see his fat ass actually hike up just ONE hill!
