Legs Only
What could be the cause of heaviness in the legs only when I lie down?
It is painful and feel like a ton each. Should I be concerned?
The symptoms could be caused by any number of issues. You may have RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) or you may have another condition. It is also possible that you are simply pressing on nerves, causing it to feel like your legs are heavy. Heaviness and numbness of the extremities can be caused by changes in blood pressure and heart rate, and buildup of lymph fluid. In short, you could have anything, or nothing at all. If you are concerned, you should visit a physician, but based on the limited information you gave, it is impossible to determine without examination if you have a serious issue, or if you just need to change the position in which you sleep.
