What is the best GoTo/computerize beginner telescope?
I’m planning to get a goto or a computerized telescope in uk.
Which do you think would be a great quality,steady tripod,accurate goto system and reasonable priced telescope ?
I’m a beginner is astronomy and my budget is limited to £500?
Any suggestions on telescopes?

To get some of the best of both worlds, you might try getting an Orion XT8i – - an 8 inch dobsonian reflector (a very good beginner scope – plenty of size to keep you satisfied for several years) with the ”Intelliscope” computer ”push-to” system (a computer guide tell *you* where to push the scope – without having the fiddly/finicky motor-drive)
In the UK, you would probably try SCS Astro.
(You can try searching the net for alternative dealers as well…)
If you are *absolutely limited to £500, you might get an Orion XT6i, and get a nice pair of binoculars as well – and save the remainder for eyepieces and/or magazine subscriptions.
