Photographers and Tripods?
If I were a photographer and I was at a park to take pics of several things and I was using a tripod I don’t think I would fold the tripod back up every time I move it. I would probably carry it as it is to the next picture place.
I know it sounds pointless but there is a reason I want to know. What would you do if you were moving around with a tripod fold it up every single time or carry it from place to place.
Ok say its flat terrain and you aren’t walking like miles just a couple yards
If I am expecting to shoot soon, I fold the legs up while traveling, to form a monopod.
I dont collapse them unless I am going someplace where I need 2 hands to climb. With the legs extended, into a monopod, I can shoot quicker if necessary.
