What kind of scopes have about a foot of eye relief?

I am going to buy a Mosin Nagant and I don’t want to spend all the money for that scope mount that puts the scope off the the side. So I wanted to buy that mount that puts the scope like more towards the muzzle and farther away from the butt. But if i do that then I’ll need a scope with a far eye relief. Do you think it’s worth buying the mount and a scope (3-9X40) or somewhere in that range.

I’ve got a Leupold scout scope on a Marlin 1894 and it sits about 11 inches from my eye. The only bad thing about this scope is that it is a fixed power, 2.5X. (And it was the only scout scope the store had when I wanted it.)

Another scout scope brand I saw on Midway’s web site is Leatherwood. It is reasonably priced, but I don’t know much about them, however, it does have variable optics.
