Dashboard Suction
Can you use GPS windshield suction on the dashboard without having to use any adhesive?

The whole point of the suction cup is that you don’t need adhesive. I use mine every day with no adhesive. The only down side is that eventually the suction cup will give way and you will have to get a replacement and it may fall off from time to time in the changing colder temps of the Fall and Winter
I would never put adhesive on my windshield by the way at least in a place where I would put my GPS. Also, one of the points of having a portable GPS is that you can move it from Vehicle to Vehicle.
If you want to you can also use a dashboard mount that will adhere to the dashboard or even better a portable friction mount such as this one listed in my sources below,
but you may have to order it from the manufacturer if it doesn’t come with the unit.
