Can any monopod be compatible with any head?

I know this might sound a little silly, but I’m pretty confused right now. I have a Giottos head (link below) and I have a Slik tripod. I’m getting a monopod (link below), but I need to know if they are compatible with one another. If not, what head is?

should be, if not its a easy fix, i had to do it with a head and tripod that had different size threads,

- if they are different there are adaptor type things that screw both together
