How do you upload RAWs from your Canon Rebel XSi onto your computer?
I recently got a Rebel XSi but am now travelling and forgot the CD to install stuff at home.
I managed to upload a couple of JPG files onto my computer the first time but now that I changed the settings to RAW (because I prefer the quality), my pictures won’t upload at all…except for three experimental JPGs, that took half an hour to get into iPhoto.
What’s going on and what can I do to fix it?
Do what the pros do.
Shoot in both RAW and JPEG.
Use a card reader and completely avoid downloading from the cameras
We can use the JPEG’s to view the each image as we edit the shoots. Once the best of the best is compiled, the related RAW images are then processed usually using Photoshop.
You need to download the RAW viewing plug-in for Apples Find.
